Meet My Family

James & Heather

I'm Heather and this handsome man next to me is my amazing husband James.
He is the best husband and provider. Because he works so hard outside of the home I am blessed to be able to stay home and raise our boys. I love my job, it's not something I feel forced to do but something I feel privileged to do. James has given us a good life and I love him more than he could ever possibly know. We have been married for almost 5 years and they have been the most blessed years of our lives.

Shortly after we were married we were given our first blessing....

Torin J. Whaley

Torin is the strongest child I know. When he was 21 months old he was diagnosed with severe Autism. The next 2 1/2  years of our lives were spent running back and forth to different therapies (speech, occupational and special instruction). He had to change his diet to help lesson the symptoms of his Autism (yes diet and supplementation matter) , he endured a month of Hyperbaric Chamber therapy (changed his life and our as well) But in the end it was all worth it. I learned many things through those trying years, Torin's journey taught me to be more patient, considerate and it taught me Grace. It also strengthened my belief that with God all things are possible because in Torin's case the impossible happened. He beat Autism.

Today he is a typical 4 1/2 year old boy. His label has been removed and he is main streamed in school. He is so smart and creative. He loves music, drawing, making up stories and telling jokes.
This boy has changed my life.

21 months after Torin's birth we received our 2nd blessing...

Liam B. Whaley

This face says it all. Liam is my rough n tumble keep us on our toes boy. He is as sassy as they come and knows exactly when to turn on the charm. I tell him daily that he is lucky the Lord made him so cute. He is smart, outgoing, super silly and a true mama's boy. He loves sports, super hero's and doing whatever his big brother is doing. He loves to help and learn new things. He is a bit of a dare devil which freaks me out but he also keeps us young. I can't imagine a life without him in it.
